Apple promised at WWDC to release the iOS 11 public beta by the end of June, and they've just followed through on their promise.

Starting today, anyone with a supported iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch can test out Apple's upcoming mobile operating system and all its new features, including the customizable Control Center, the one-handed keyboard, and the revamped App Store.

And that's just naming a few of the cool features iOS 11 has to offer. There's also improved support for Portrait mode on the iPhone 7 Plus, long exposure filters and other cool Live Photos upgrades, a pseudo Dark mode, indoor maps for malls and airports, Do Not Disturb While Driving mode, and a way to type to Siri instead of talking. For a complete list of iOS 11's new features, check out our collection of iOS 11 tips and tricks or the continually updated big roundup of features linked below.

If you want to get the iOS 11 public beta installed right now, it's as easy as signing up for the Apple Beta Software Program, enrolling your device, downloading the beta profile, and updating to iOS 11. Just remember to make an "archived" backup of iOS 10 first! For complete instructions and a list of supported devices, check out our full tutorial.
