Apple released iOS 14.2.1 for iPhone today, Thursday, Nov. 19. The update includes fixes for a bug where some MMS messages might not be received, an issue where iPhone 12 mini lock screens would be unresponsive, and a problem where "Made for iPhone" hearing devices would have sound quality issues when playing from iPhone.
Apple released this update just past 10 a.m. PDT. Interestingly, the software is only for iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max, Apple's latest suite of iPhones. If you have another iPhone running iOS 14, you won't see this update on your device.

Interestingly, Apple released another iPhone 12-exclusive update last night. Unlike 14.2.1, this update was simply named 14.2, seemingly identical to the current iOS 14.2 software available on all compatible iPhones. Outlets speculated at the time whether that version of 14.2 including patches for bugs such as missing text messages, but we now know 14.2.1 fixes that issue.
How to Install the Latest Version of iOS on Your iPhone
